job­description

As a Supervisor Powerpacks within the production department of Dieseko Group, you play a key role in both leading and actively participating in the assembly of our powerpacks and new equipment. You are responsible for maintaining the right balance between hands-on execution (approximately 60%) and team leadership (approximately 40%), working alongside your team while providing guidance, support, and direction.

You are responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality new-build orders while safeguarding safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the workshop. In addition, you actively contribute to the continuous improvement of assembly processes.

As a Supervisor Powerpacks, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading, coaching, and supporting technicians involved in the assembly of powerpacks.
  • Actively participating in the assembly of new equipment (approximately 50% of your time).
  • Monitoring the quality, planning, and progress of new-build orders.
  • Resolving technical and logistical disruptions during the production process.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinating with the Production Manager and HR regarding workforce planning, resource allocation, and team development.
  • Maintaining an efficient workflow and ensuring the effective deployment of personnel and resources.
  • Upholding high standards of quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship throughout the assembly process.

Your profile

  • Completed MBO-level education in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel engines, and mechanical drive systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a working foreman, supervisory, or leadership role.
  • Proficient in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
  • Proactive, driven, results-oriented, and enthusiastic.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to remain effective under pressure.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and quality-focused.
  • A critical thinker with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Flexible and willing to work overtime when required, while motivating others to do the same.
  • Able to distinguish priorities and maintain oversight in a dynamic production environment.
