Solid foundations, innovative solutions

Vibro technology is our business, developing machines is our passion and our goal is to invent sustainable solutions. It started in 1974 with the rental of vibratory hammers to foundation companies. The organisation has since expanded and grown into an international, financially healthy enterprise, becoming the worldwide market leader with a wide variety of products and services for (deep) foundation works and piling challenges. PVE Piling & Vibro Equipment was founded in 1989 when, after years of maintenance and rental for other brands, Dieseko decided to start manufacturing vibratory hammers itself. The main reason being that Dieseko simply wanted to build better machines with all the knowledge it had gained.
Today, PVE has grown into a globally recognized brand and, as part of the Dieseko Group, is part of an international, financially healthy company.

The red of PVE

Expertise and experience are at the heart of PVE Piling & Vibro Equipment. The brand runs in the veins of its creators, engineers, builders, and service technicians. Our machines are handed over to the customer with great pride, and that love for the brand is mutual. Vibratory hammers and power packs that are 25 or even 30 years old and still in full operation are no exception!

Low-vibration and vibration-free installation

In 1992, the PVE Variable Moment (VM) vibratory hammers marked a turning point in foundation technology worldwide. With the variable eccentric moment, vibration-free starting and stopping is possible. This makes the vibratory hammer safe for use in urban environments and suitable for use with a telescopic crane. PVE’s pressing machines operate on a different principle and are even completely vibration-free. If soil resistance allows, they can press sheet pile sets (up to 4 sheets wide) fully vibration-free into the ground.

Innovations

As part of Dieseko Group, PVE is developing as a high-tech brand for, among others, the offshore market. With its own R&D department, there is a lot of interaction with customers and the market. Much effort is being put into innovations in the field of emissions and sustainability. Issues such as noise pollution, emission of harmful substances, and reducing the consumption of fossil fuels are just a few developments where PVE’s expertise and experience are indispensable.

Never enough kilogram-meters

The size and power of PVE vibratory hammers were decisive in the application of vibratory technology in the offshore (wind) market. Finally, contractors had a machine with an installation speed up to 10 times faster than an impact hammer. In 2009, the PVE 300M was the largest vibratory hammer in the world. In 2013, this hammer was successfully used for the installation of PIN-piles at the Global Tech I wind farm. The patented upending system, which allows horizontal pipes to be picked up, was a groundbreaking innovation that not only shortened installation time but also greatly simplified handling.

In 2019, the 90VM was built. The biggest Variable Moment Vibratory Hammer in the world. The past two years have been dedicated to the development of the new 500MU, the upending version of the 500M. In the monoblock segment, this is still the largest Vibratory Hammer ever built. Important developments include the newly designed upending bracket, increased lifting capacity, and a hydraulic safety lock during tilting.

The very largest

PVE/Dieseko has now received an order from Saipem to install 64 enormous monopiles in a wind farm off the coast of France. For this, an entirely new Vibratory Hammer has been developed. Once again, the largest vibratory hammer in the world will be ready in the course of 2022 and is named GIANT 2000. For the future, a GIANT 3000 is even in the pipeline.

Sustainable investment

Worldwide, PVE has built a respectable reputation over more than 40 years. The PVE machines are constructed to be extremely durable and therefore highly reliable. As such, they last a very long time and retain their value. An investment in PVE is more than just acquiring the best machine; it is a choice for sustainable and economically responsible business operations.
