job­description

As Manager Facility, you will be responsible for efficiently organizing, coordinating and improving all facility-related processes at our production site in Sliedrecht. You ensure that facilities, installations and working environments are maintained in optimal condition and comply with applicable safety and maintenance standards.

On a daily basis, you will coordinate with suppliers, the technical service department and internal departments to ensure the smooth execution of all facility-related activities. By organizing and monitoring processes in a structured manner, you create the conditions for a safe and efficient production and working environment.

Your responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate all facility-related activities, including cleaning, site management, building maintenance, installations, security and catering.
  • Maintain structural relationships with suppliers, contractors and internal departments, including coordination of planning and execution.
  • Manage contracts, maintenance schedules and budgets, with a focus on quality, continuity and cost control.
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety, environmental and occupational health regulations (HSE) and follow up on improvement measures.
  • Initiate and implement improvement projects focused on sustainability, safety and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate facility-related activities during renovations, expansions and modifications within the production and office environments.

Your profile

  • You have an MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking, preferably in Facility Management, Engineering or Logistics.
  • You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a facility or coordinating role within a technical, industrial or production environment.
  • You have knowledge of building management, maintenance processes and facility services, and understand the relationship between technology, safety and business continuity.
  • You have experience with supplier management, contract management and budget monitoring.
  • You have an affinity with HSE and occupational health and safety regulations.
  • You work in a structured manner, maintain an overview and are able to set priorities when dealing with a wide range of issues.
  • You are pragmatic and independent, and take responsibility for a well-organized and future-proof facility organization.
