Our warehouse is much more than just a storage space; it is the beating heart of our organization. Here, the flow of goods begins and ends, ensuring an efficient throughput within the company. A well-organized warehouse is crucial for daily operations and has a direct impact on various departments, such as Service and Production.
Our service technicians rely on a smooth supply of materials and parts so they can act quickly and effectively at customer sites. The production and service departments also depend on streamlined logistics to have the right components available on time for assembly and further processing. In addition, we serve external customers who count on fast and error-free delivery.
An efficient warehouse operation therefore contributes to the success of the entire organization. By continuously optimizing processes and collaborating with different departments, we ensure that everything runs smoothly and that we can serve our customers in the best possible way.
Your responsibilities:
- Order picking and preparing products for shipment.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Packing materials for shipments.
- Accurately booking in and storing incoming goods according to the WMS system.
- Supporting colleagues at the counter with issuing materials.
- Complying with safety regulations and procedures.
- Performing periodic counts and inventory management.
Your profile
- You have at least 2 years of experience in logistics and understand how important a well-organized warehouse is.
- You have a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one.
- You have a forklift and/or reach truck certificate and experience driving them.
- You work neatly, quickly, and always think one step ahead.
- You understand that if the warehouse comes to a halt, the whole organization comes to a halt – and you won’t let that happen!
We are extra happy if you:
- Have a certificate for a 16-ton forklift.
- Have experience with safe hoisting.
- Know how to secure containers (lashing).
