As an Export executive, you will be responsible for independently managing, coordinating, directing, executing, and supporting worldwide shipments by road, sea, and air freight for both domestic and international customers across the entire Dieseko Group.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring export compliance within the logistics department, with a strong focus on areas such as country of origin determination (preferential and non-preferential origin), HS code classification, and dual-use regulations.
Your responsibilities:
- Maintaining an up-to-date control system for Certificates of Origin (CoOs), HS codes, dual-use items, customs-compliant product descriptions, and supplier declarations in accordance with ISO process 040.P004.
- Outsourcing transportation and shipments in the most efficient and cost-effective manner, including negotiating fixed-rate agreements and resolving discrepancies in pre- and post-calculations.
- Preparing shipments of finished products and ensuring accurate administrative processing and archiving in accordance with ISO process 040.P015.
- Generating clear reports and statistics to keep relevant departments informed and to maintain operational efficiency.
- Applying for and maintaining customs and export licenses for dual-use shipments worldwide, as well as preparing all required customs documentation, including EXA, T1, T2, EUR.1, and Certificates of Origin.
Your profile
- At least three years of experience in a similar Export Coordinator or Export Administration role.
- Minimum MBO working and thinking level (vocational education), preferably with a background in logistics, supply chain, or international trade.
- Knowledge of ISO processes, customs regulations, and export licensing is considered an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Excellent analytical and administrative skills, with proven experience in efficiently managing and safeguarding export and transportation data.
